Venishree and Juergen acquired Fraaigelegen Farm in 2016 as an ideal country escape to retreat, rejuvenate and to just listen to the silence. Add to that...wine, food and glorious sunshine and snow-topped mountain ranges!

The well-travelled couple resigned from their corporate roles in Germany, travelled for a few months in their camper van with Afra (a German Hovawart breed) through the Nordic and Baltic States and then decided to buy this beautiful farm in the stunning Tulbagh valley. 

They have a welcoming and wonderful local team lead by Manager Shane Reynolds.
