It is home to award-winning ADHARA EVOO extra virgin olive oil and Paserene wines. The award-winning wines of winemaker Martin Smith can be tasted at the Paserene Estate in Franschoek.

Many of our guests choose to stay with us to enjoy a quiet and peaceful getaway or to attend weddings (we have 21 wedding venues in the area!), or for wine tasting, moutain biking, fruit picking etc. Towns such as Wellington, Paarl, Worcester, Franschhoek and Stellenbosch are within 45-60 minutes drive. The Swartland Wine region (quaint Riebeeck Kasteel) is just over the mountain pass and your journey to the West Coast (Paternoster for crayfish?) is just 2 hours away! Want to see the BIG 5, then head to nearby Aquila Private Game Reserve and while on a day trip there, take in a Tandem Skydive! A trip to the MATROOSBERG range in winter is a must for all snow-seekers!
